ABOUT

Shannon Starr is a career educator.  Her heart is helping young people find their purpose and putting together a plan to achieve that purpose whether that be through college, fine art school, intern, or trade schools. 

Navigating college applications, researching scholarships, meeting submission deadlines, writing essays, collecting letters of recommendation, and creating resume's are just some of the things that are needed to obtain scholarships, and meet all the deadlines that await your high school student as they approach the next steps Beyond High School.

I have experience with all of these elements that face your Junior and Senior student and athlete, as well as experience with the application processes with the public universities as well as the private universities. I have navigated these areas for my two sons and advised countless others in these matters. Collectively I helped them obtain over $500,00 in college scholarships for my two boys. My oldest son graduated from OSU debit free and is entering his 3rd year of medical school without any debt. My youngest son will be graduating ORU with a degree in Historical Theology and will also graduate debit free.

I have taught in both public and private schools. I have been an active member of Church On The Move in Tulsa, OK for over 20 years.

I am now offering my knowledge base, research skills, and services to parents who are in need of someone to help their students navigate through all of the information and deadlines that are required for them to take their next step Beyond High School.
